“Mi” means “seeking” in Chinese. For this collection, Neri&Hu inverts the conventional relationship of transparency and opacity in display cabinetry. One has to actively seek out the objects within, rather than them being exposed via typical glass door panels, they are enveloped and fully obscured by the oblong outer shell.
